Anger…!

Hello Folks,

Well before writing anything on this topic I think I have to be honest that I am very angry today. And I don’t know how to control it.

In fact I am against of controlling it is a very important emotion. I have my anger issues which has been the reason of my various fights, arguments, failures, etc. In fact I left few of my previous jobs for the same issue. And I think it is very much with me as I treat it as my body part or my important weapon from the armory.

Although I don’t want to use it but it is something which comes to me quite often then not.

May be I am short tempered. But what I have seen that my anger does not harm anyone as it only raises the modulation of my voices and even make it louder so that it can be audible to the person who is in the 2nd street. I feel bad about it . but yes I have to say that I am very much under control of not being violent. Yes I do get irritated and in between I may say something very harsh but the other side is that even at that level I don’t abuse or cross the line in a verbal spat.

But whatever I do I feel bad about it as I think it is very bad to be so bad on anyone. But I can’t help it at that time. As I am not that sense of thinking something to which I feel afterwards.

I may hit hard on something and hurt my self ,it could be a desks, wall or even a my head. Usually I use to punch with my right hand on the surfaces near by or at my forehead.

Sometimes I even damage the furniture stuffs like chairs, tables etc. It is very bad. But I can’t help it.

I have been like this from my childhood ,my mother told me that I used get very angry if didn’t get what I have been promised to get. My face used to get red and it is even now the same.

So the point is it is good to stay with your emotions even it is anger but the way it comes to us it should have some control. How can we control it? More of you is good as I believe in being original .

Tell me something to control it or to manage it in a better so that it could come and go with very ease. Anger issues are there but yes I don’t hurt anyone I have that notch of being watchful even at extreme level so that I don’t use a bad word and don’t get violent on anyone yes in between this I hurt myself.

My anger stays with me and it plays within until it is not burs-ted on anyone.

Your suggestions are very helpful …please do share it on the comment box. As it is not just a blogging post it is my serious problem with which I really want to overcome.

Thank You

  1. To be honest we sail in the same boat. I have the same issue but my anger never burst out in front of everyone its just only few people.Iam not saying that I suppress it actually my anger explodes when its necessary but what i usually try is to slow down myself for that time and afterwards its all in mind and I try counter question all those things from others point of view and it simply works and  avoid being too busy or deal with anger-provoking people instead spend some time in listening soothing music (it works my personal experience😉 )

  2. I agree with both comments. Avoiding the “anger provoking” people is the best, when we can’t, letting emotions flow out from time to time can be fine…

  3. On my personal past, i was always angry but i lashed it on me. Everybody wanted to suppress my anger. That was then, in the last two years i have processed all of it internally and yes. Whatever my emotions are, it has to come out one way or another and needs to be processed and expressed coz I dont want to be in a place where i am more extradited away from those i hold dear. Whatever emotion u r going thru give it time and express it and please let it out, coz the more u hold it in, it can destroy u.

  4. Hello friend. I just read your post. Anger is a serious issue and it can be bad for us, and for others. I advise that you begin a relationship with God. A relationship with God should help you to overcome your anger. When we walk with God, he fills us with his holy spirit. When the spirit of the lord is with us, we become more joyful, more peaceful, and have more self-control. We also realize that we are a part of a bigger and more beautiful picture, a picture bigger than our daily struggles and petty grievances. When you walk with God, your eyes will also be opened, you will see how the devil uses the spirit of anger to cause destruction and destroy unity. You will possess the full armor of God and no spirits that are not of God would be able to affect your emotions.

If you wish to start a relationship with God (if you do not already have one), here are the steps that I usually recommend:

    1) find a quiet space free from distractions, a place where you can pray.

    2) imagine that Jesus is in front of you, talk to him the way you will with a close friend. Tell him that you are ready to accept him, invite him to come into your life and become your lord and personal savior. Ask for forgiveness of past sins. Tell Jesus that you want to die to your old self and be reborn as a new creation in him. Pray that you inherit eternal life and the kingdom of God. Beware of sudden distractions when you pray, this is a trick the devil uses to stop us from having focused prayers. You might also get the feeling that God is not there or that you are simply wasting your time, this is another trick that the devil uses to discourage us from prayers.

    3) If you have any specific prayers, or something specific that you need, you can ask it in Jesus name, and God would attend to the prayers. God usually has three answers to prayers: Yes, Yes but wait, and No. God has a reason for every answer, and his answers are usually what is best for you. When you pray, you need to have faith that you will receive. God does not like it when we pray but doubt his ability to provide what we want for us. Lastly, prayers and faith without works wont bring results. E.g. If all a person does is prays and has faith that they would get a job, without actually applying to jobs, they WOULD NOT get a job. God does not work that way, God loves hard-working people, and God rewards hard-work. If all Christians had to do is pray, have faith, and stay home all day awaiting a blessing, Christians would be the laziest people on earth. LOL. Your part is to pray that God should fast-track your success, so that you recieve your blessings quicker than people who are relying on their own strength. Your blessings might also come in a bigger way. Remember to thank God when you get the answers to your prayers.

    4) Read the bible and obey it. You can find free bibles online. You can also find free bible apps on google play. Keep praying all the time and maintain a connection with God.

    5) Trials and tribulations may come your way, sometimes these are designed to test your faith, and sometimes they are simply tricks from the devil to get you to denounce the religion. At times like this, you pray to God, you fast, and you maintain consistency in the faith, this way, God would lift you above all trials and afflictions.

    6) You can join a community of bible believing Christians. Having friends who are believers would keep you on track, and the conversations about the religion would be beneficial to your faith.

    7) Get a water baptism, and pray to God so that you can receive a baptism in the holy spirit.

I hope you give God a try. Remember that God loves you dearly, he wants to connect with you, and he can help you overcome anger and other sins. Have a blessed day.
